"Food & Our Health" With Dr Gary Fettke - Sat 22 March - Burnie
I hosted my first public health seminar in March 2014, and shared the lectern with Dr Gary Fettke, an Orthopaedic Surgeon and Senior Lecturer of the University of Tasmania actively practising in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia.
Gary has a longstanding keen interest in the preventative aspects of health outcome and particularly before operating on patients.
We presented our individual journeys or our "vested interests" and how nutrition is central to our health health. We outlined why the modern diet is causing many of us harm and offered our opinions on how we can shape our future and that of future generations by avoiding the inflammatory components of our current diets.
I encourage you to keep in touch with Gary's passionate "No Fructose" campaign through his facebook page, and read more on his website.
